5 Rooftop Bars and Restaurants You Should Try in Malaysia

Having a vacation in Malaysia can be done in many ways. You can go backpacking while staying in hostels and the street foods to vary your experiences. But if you would like to travel and stay there in style, you can do something different. You can stay in fancy hotels and enjoy the luxury while trying the rooftop bars in this country with their famous tagline: “Truly Asia”. So, are you ready to check out some of the rooftop restaurants in Malaysia, especially in KL? Give these five hot spots a try and enjoy the meals and also the luxury.

1. Heli Lounge Bar

Are you a big fan of nightlife? Go to Menara or Kuala Lumpur Tower in Bukit Bintang, KL. On the 34th floor, that is where Heli Lounge Bar is. Go clubbing and dancing up in the sky while having drinks nonstop. The night is young, especially since the real party begins at nine. Decorated in an “aviation theme” (you can see real Boeing 737 parts), you can have a ladies’ night on Thursday and DJ playing some tunes on Friday.

2. View Rooftop Bar

G Tower is located in Jalan Tun Razak, KL. That is where View Rooftop Bar is. This place is perfect for those of you who have an endless love for Champagne, Glenlivet single malt, and Al Fresco. (Yes, there are even rooms named after them.) The wooden-decked balcony is open air, but the cover will protect the guests from rain or the scorching sunlight. If they want to party all night long, the rain will not get them drenched.

3. Sky Bar

Located on the 33rd floor of Traders Hotel, Sky Bar has been around since 2006. The unique part of this rooftop bar and restaurant is the swimming pool right in the middle. You can go swimming in the day and have an all-night party by night. The drinks include cocktails. One of their best is Kiwitini, which is a mixture of kiwi fruit, vodka, and champagne.

4. Marini’s on 57

Petronas Tower is not just an authentic background where you can take photos during your holiday in Malaysia. Go to the highest rooftop bar and restaurant there, Marini’s on 57, where you can choose three different venues. Is it Italian fine dining, a lounge where you can have cigars and single malt whiskey, or a bar where DJ keeps on playing the music all night long? Take your pick. Whatever you choose, hopefully you will have all the fun you want.

5. Atmosphere 360

Want to have a complete, 360-view of KL around you? According to the name, this rooftop bar and restaurant can give you that. Located on the top of Menara Kuala Lumpur or Tower, you get to enjoy the view, especially at night, with a glass of wine and a small plate of light meals. What could be better? Being there will make you feel like you are on top of the world, even if it’s only for one night.

So, are you ready to enjoy luxury in Malaysia? Give these five (5) rooftop bars and restaurants a try while you are there.
