Renowned for Cantonese custom making dim sum as Chinese culinary tradition, Guest Chef Zhang from Gran Melia Xian, China is in town. Starting from 16 to 22 April 2018, Tien Chao at Gran Melia Jakarta presents a touch of authenticity using traditional Chinese techniques and chosen ingredients to showcase their dim sums.

 Mastering the field of pastry and baked dim sum, Chef Zhang brings out the innovative dim sum creations such as snow white mantou, walnut cake, durian cake, strawberry buchi, yong chow fried rice, lotus paste with egg yolk, fried stuffed bun with sugar, clear chicken dumplings, fish ganshouw and prawn oats. Pair these scrumptious dishes from the menu with a pot of warm Chinese Jasmine tea or the chilled Shanghai Stars, a subtle gin based cocktail that is highly flavoured with orange bitters.
