A Revamped Menu from Tien Chao at Gran Melia Jakarta


Serving a newer dining experience to its guests, Gran Melia Jakarta proudly launches a revamped menu with more exquisite delights in it premier Chinese restaurant, Tien Chao.

The dishes set under the new menu embraces abundant varieties that put forth the combination of Cantonese & Szechuan with the local tastes. In curating this menu, the chefs at Gran Melia Jakarta gather all the innovative elements and incorporate them with the classic cooking techniques.

Presenting more that 15 new dishes that has been prepared using the finest quality of seasonal ingredients, Tien Chao is set to please the palate of its guests with selections of fresh appetizers, delicious soups, delightful seafood dishes, as well as a unique mix of Tien Chao’s classic favorites and the new innovative dishes.

Crispy Chicken Lemon Sauce.

Blending uniquely range of distinct flavors with contemporary presentation, some of the new signature dishes are spare rib with black bean, Szechuan spicy chicken, roasted Peking duck, crispy golden prawn with orange sauce, fried rice with foie gras, and the Tien Chao’s favorite – seafood dumpling soup.

Guests could also indulge in highly delectable dim sum dishes including scallop dumpling with caviar, crabmeat and goji dumpling, chicken can pao, shanghai wo tie, radish cake with balacan sauce and the sought-after Tien Chao’s specialties of egg custard and salted yolk pao as well as ‘sui kau’ in chili oil and vinegar.

Tien Chao’s skilled chefs have also created elevated set menus for exclusive occasion featuring some of the favorite dishes such as double boil sea cucumber & pacific clam with chicken broth, hot & sour jelly fish, crispy roasted pork belly, steamed tiger grouper fid fillet Hunan style, crispy chicken with golden salted egg and many others.

Undoubtedly, Tien Chao’s exquisite desserts have received a seasonal upgrade as well, with the famed bird nest in almond cream, sweetened red bean soup with lotus seeds, and fresh mango pudding served with ice cream.

Inviting a wider dining experience, these cuisines are available to be served from a la carte, set menus, dim sum a la carte as well as the weekend All You Can Eat Dim Sum. The new menu at Tien Chao has been offered since Spetember 3, 2018. A la carte menus are priced from IDR 38,000 ++ and set menu is available at IDR 588,000 ++. Diners could also enjoy All You Can Eat Dim Sum on Saturdays and Sundays at the cost of IDR 188,000 ++.
