Journey across Great Britain with Belmond British Pullman and Their Exciting Events

This summer is all about pop up dining adventures and with Belmond British Pullman, the excitement doesn’t just stop with one event, but three new and engaging opportunities for guests to learn and explore in.

There are some new additions to this years “pop-up” dining events at the Belmond British Pullman, including exclusive dinners hosted by celebrity TV chefs, an elegant champagne afternoon tea and the ultimate gin journey. Established as one of London’s most exclusive and experimental dining series, each event is only available for 100 guests so they can glamour at the iconic train with the opportunity to meet special guests.

Enjoy a night out in style and elegance with specially curated menus from the hottest chefs in the world preparing dishes from the heart and their own experiences.

The first takeover is in the galley-kitchens for dinner on 21 July 2018 with British celebrity Tom Kerridge, televisions most affable chefs and owner of the country’s most sought out and two Michelin-starred pub, Hand and Flowers in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Tome will showcase his passion for adding a modern twist to classic British dishes, making it extra exclusive.

On 18 August 2018, self-taught and award-winning chef, Raymond Blanc OBE, present a menu of beautifully fresh ingredients and flavours inspired by his Mother’s dedication to the seasons and his philosophy on sustainable and organic food.

Michel Roux Jr., Britain’s most highly regarded two Michelin-starred chefs and TV personality, will host on 28 September with his training and vast experience in classical French cookery and serve up a menu of specially crafted courses.

To end the series, James Martin will host a heart-warming menu inspired by his Yorkshire roots on 16 November 2018. A comforting and hearty theme will connect guests with Jame’s love for nostalgic recipes from his childhood but combine them with flavours and twists he learned in his years of cooking and travelling in France.

The Belmond British Pullman is elegantly decorated like a classic train from the past with comfort and space to fully take the history and dining experience all in.

The second event of the Belmond British Pullman is a champagne afternoon tea journey in celebration with Champagne Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé 50th anniversary. Held on 19 August, the place will be transformed with crisp white linens, sparkling glassware and bespoke china with a spectacular array of cakes and fancies adorning the tables, all crafted by multi-award-winning chef, Clair Clark MBE. Tea will be served from an exclusive tea blend specifically designed for the occasion by English producer, Tregothnan.

The last event to close the year will be on 22 November with a uniquely curated gin experience with premium gin Tanqueray No. TEN. The feeling of being in the roaring twenties with a menu of seven uniquely crafted dishes that bring to life the citrus botanicals of Tanqueray No. TEN paired with matching cocktails will have guests wanting more. As a special note, this event will also host a Tanqueray’s Brand Ambassador opening a specialist masterclass to help guests create the perfect Tanqueray No. TEN gin martini
