Raffles Jakarta Collaborates With Chef Adriano Zumbo for Exclusive High Tea
Australian celebrity pastry Chef Adriano Zumbo himself will be at Raffles Jakarta to share his deliciously sweet creations.
Adriano Zumbo is one of Australia’s most well known as respected partissiers, thus earning him the nickname “The Sweet Assassin.” Chef Adriano is collaborating with Raffles Jakarta and their culinary team to prepare high tea for guests. He will take the usual Raffles Jakarta high tea experience to the next level on Friday, the 22nd of February by featuring some of his own delicious creations.
In Australia, he not only well-known for his food creations, but also his television experiences and cookbooks. He has released three bestselling cookbooks, the most recent The Zumbo Files, which hit bookshelves globally in May 2015. Zumbo appeared on a six-part documentary television series Zumbo, featuring the daily routine of the chef at his Balmain kitchen business, which screened on SBS One in 2011. Zumbo has appeared on every season of Masterchef Australia, starting with setting a croquembouche challenge in the show’s first season.
Guests are able to meet Chef Adriano Zumbo himself at Raffle Jakarta while enjoying some of his signature sweets in pastries. Served will be a variety of his most well-known creations such as his Myko Cake, Crème Brulee Zumbaron, Hokkaido Cream Bun, Yuzu Say Cheese, and Dirty Dany petit gateaux mixed with the classic inspired sweets and savories from the Raffles Jakarta culinary team.
This exclusive experience will be available only on Friday, 22 February 2019 at The Writers Bar from 3 PM to 5 PM at IDR 550,000++ for 2 people.
