The concept is of an open-kitchen so you can see the Chef and his team whipping up the freshly cooked scrumptious dishes once you place your order. The menu has western and Asian flavours. “The signature dishes are Shareloin and Iconic Spaghetti Aglio Olioi, both these dishes are unique to their special recipes,” says Chef Ronny Fui, Chef de Cuisine at Kemang Icon Hotel.

The much spoken off Shareloin dish, is a 400 gms of a mouth-watering Australian striploin, that is served with fresh salad, and sauces such as sambal kecup, Padang green chilli and sambal matah, and diced water melon to complement the exotic flavours of this dish. When it comes to the Iconic Spaghetti Aglio Olio, what sets this Aglio Olio apart from the other ones is its subtle sweetness. The chef sweetly let out one of the key secrets from this delicious recipe to us, “the garlic cloves are not pungent, as they are soaked in sugar syrup,” he said. “Meals and dishes can be customised as per the guests’ needs and mood. For the more complex dishes however, the chef requests a prior notice of a day to procure the ingredients,” adds Chef Fui.
