Meta Restaurant is widely acclaimed as Singapore’s top best restaurant offering cutting edge fine dining, an amalgamation of influences from the West and the chef’s home country of Korea, layered with inspirations gleaned from his training under chef Tetsuya Wakuda at Tetsuya’s in Sydney.

Chef Sun Kim is almost here to indulge guests on a gastronomical journey.

Chef Sun Kim was born in South Korea and introduced to the world of culinary from an early age by his family. That passion was further cultivated by Chef Tetsuya Wakuda’s book that inspired him to take a huge step to travel across the world and study culinary at Le Cordon Bleu Sydney, before finally landing a position at Tetsuya’s Restaurant under the legendary chef with Waku Ghin at Marina Bay Sands Singapore.

Meta started in 2015 in Keong Saik Road Singapore. His adventurous style of contemporary Asian food stands out by weaving Western cooking techniques with Asian elements. With finesse and great showmanship, Chef Sun Kim pushes the boundaries of flavour combinations by melding Eastern and Western flavours which resulted in Meta restaurant to receive a Michelin Star in 2017.

Chef Sun Kim is part of the guest chef series at Raffles Jakarta, where Raffles aims to constantly raise the bar in the culinary scene in Jakarta.

This gastronomic experience will be ready for guests from 19-20 October 2018 with an exclusive six-course Dinner set menu. The dinner itself is priced at IDR 799,000++ per person or IDR 1,488,000++ per person including wine parings.
