The Enchanting Evening with Rosso and Wolf Blass Wine

This Friday, enjoy an exclusive dinner poolside at Rosso, the Italian restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, with select Australian wines from the Wolf Blass Wine collection.

Located near the Hotel lobby, the restaurant invites guests to experience a five-course Italian dinner that is expertly and exquisitely crafted by Rosso’s Italian chef, Gianfranco Pirrone, and will be paired perfectly with the prestigious wines presented by wine ambassador of Wolf Blass Wine, Chris Hatcher. In addition to the unrivalled Italian cuisines, guests will be pampered with live music performance and a tropical garden view.

Chef Gianfranco Pirrone has prepared an exquisite meal for this one night only event paired with Wolf Blass Wine.

This five-course dinner will consist of an appetiser of Tagliere di Salumi e Formaggi – parma ham, mortadella ham, salame Milano, spicy salame spianata, taleggio cheese, parmesan cheese, pecorino cheese and goat cheese – and Bruschette paired with Wolf Blass Gold Label Chardonnay, Adelaide Hills, South Australia, 2014 and Wolf Blass Yellow Label Merlot, South Australia, 2016.

The second is Risotto ai Funghi e Salsa al Gorgonzola – wild mushroom risotto with gorgonzola sauce that will taste delicious with Wolf Blass Gold Label Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra Hills, South Australia 2015.

The third is Petto d’Anatra Crema alle Rape Rosse e Salsa Verde, which is pan-seared duck breast with beetroot cream and salsa verde.

The fourth will have Filetto di Manzo, Patatenovelle, Spinaci al Parmiggiano – beef tenderloin, roasted baby potatoes, parmesan spinach, paired with Wolf Blass Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Malbec, Langhorne Creek, Barossa, McLaren Vale, South Australia, 2008.

The final course, dessert, will consist of Dolcidello Chef – Italian assorted desserts.
