The Fifth Oktoberfest Celebration with Paulaner Bräuhaus


For the most exciting time of the year, Oktoberfest will be full of fun, delicious food, and authentic German bier with the help of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta and Paulaner Bräuhaus.

Paulaner Bräuhaus, Indonesia only genuine German microbrewery, will celebrate its fifth Oktoberfest this year and from October 3rd-6th, this festival will be the biggest and the only truly authentic Oktoberfest in the city.

This year, the celebration will be honoured in the “Anstich” tradition, in which the first litre of specially brewed Oktoberfest Bier will be tapped by the world’s brewmaster and the only one in Indonesia, Arie Susanto. The ingredients for this special brew are all imported from Munich and brewed on-site at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta’s microbrewery.

The folk band, Edelweiss Power, will also be flown in from Germany once again to entertain partygoers with games, competition and traditional music, giving this festival an that Bavarian touch.

The festival will bring Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta into another level with the waiter and waitress wearing traditional lederhosen and dirndl dresses, barrel after barrel of beer, mouth-watering wurst and pork knuckles, and singing and dancing until the early hours of the day.

This specially brewed Oktoberfest Bier will be ready to treat guests to an authentic celebration of fun and food.

Paulaner Bräuhaus is the only microbrewery restaurant in the country and serves traditional Bavarian food and its famed German beer, which is made with authentic imported ingredients. The Oktoberfest Bier is full-bodied, pleasant taste with a hint of malty sweetness, and goes great with Paulaner’s hearty delicacies.

This exclusive event is not one to miss and can be found at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta. For 3rd and 4th October, the price for the festival is Rp. 800,000++, which includes food, free-flow Paulaner beer, entertainment, an Oktoberfest Jakarta mug and a guaranteed seat at a table. For the 5th and 6th October, prices will be Rp. 875,000++, including all of the above plus free-flow Oktoberfest Bier.
