Three National Day Dining Adventures with Mandarin Oriental, Singapore


Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is delighted to offer a medley of delightfully unique dining experiences to commemorate the nation’s 53rd birthday.

Singapore’s 53rd birthday is quickly approaching and to celebrate this occasions, guests and visitors of Mandarin Oriental, Singapore and choose between three unique dining experiences in either Cherry Garden, Dolce Vita, and Melt Café to commemorate and taste all Singapore has to offer.

At Cherry Garden, Executive Chinese Chef Cheng Hon Chau has created a sublime Cantonese dinner, starting with the signature Peking Duck alongside quintessential condiments. Wok-fried Lobster doused in XO sauce; Kampong Chicken Duet cooked with ginger-scallion emulsion and vinegar with spicy sauce; and Stir-fried Wheat Noodles with Kurobuta pork also will join the party to showcase the Chef’s culinary finesse. This seven-course set dinner is only available on 9 August and priced at SGD 118 per person.

The Cherry Garden will have a sublime Cantonese dinner that will surely take guest’s expectations to a whole other level.

Each Saturday starting from 21 July, Dolce Vita will present delicious treats for a Pre-National Day Dinner. This five-course set dinner will have flavours such as refined Angus Beef Carpaccio accompanied by truffle vinaigrette and black truffle shavings; a succulent Roasted Wagyu Tenderloin with mushrooms or the delicate Confit Atlantic Cod Fillet sous vide for two hours, served with creamy watercress puree and charred leeks; and finish off with the Banana e Cioccolato comprising caramelised banana compote and ice cream. This divine meal is priced at SGD 168 per person.

The Angus Beef Carpaccio at Dolce Vita is decadent and all the flavours come together for a perfect starting point in this elegant five course meal.

The all-day dining restaurant, Melt Café, has unlimited selections of fresh seafood and specialties such as the King Prawn Laksa, Kueh Pie Tie Cups and Roasted Suckling Pig stuffed with aromatic six treasure rice. At the alfresco garden, the Durian and Fruit corner featuring Mao Shan Wang durians and a slew of other fresh fruits is a highlight that warrants visits. These flavours of Singapore will be served from 3rd to 12 August, with Monday to Thursday priced at SGD 88, 9 August at SGD 108 per to person, and Friday to Sunday priced at SGD 108, inclusive to a free flow of juices.
