Grand Park City Hall Newest Technology in Modern Hospitality

Streamlining guests’ experiences with quick and modern application for the best getaway, Grand Park City Hall champions is the first hotel to use mobile selfie check-in technology.

Grand Park City Hall, Park Hotel Group’s flagship property, is the first hotel to launch facial recognition technology for check-in on mobile, integrating advanced technology to enhance and create a seamless experience from pre-arrival through to checkout. The mobile application utilises WIFI, Bluetooth and location services, allowing guests to check-in on the go and skip the queue at the front desk with the quick capture of a selfie, effectively reducing the standard check-in process from five minutes to one.

This customisable app, co-developed with Singapore-based start-up GTRIIP, allows guests to handpick their stay with the different touch prints, such as secure complete pre-arrival registration and share service preference information before arriving at the lobby, expedite the check-in process by swiftly tapping a button to communicate and verifying guest identities through their mobile phones, enabling the user’s personal mobile phone to be used as a secure mobile key access, as well as in-room electronic controller for room amenities such as lighting, the television and air conditioning, and instant in-app messaging to directly connect with the hotel concierge. In the future, guests can pre-select preferred room and floor 48 hours in advance based on guest needs such as after verdant views or near-elevator room access.

The mobile app from Grand Park City Hall is personalised and is ready to help guests have a seamless and easy getaway when travelling to Singapore.

Hotel guests can still request for a physical key card or request for a temporary mobile device from the front desk with the application pre-loaded for guests not wishing to download it on their phones. This app is to help keep in the demands of modern travellers that is time saving, while also keeping the commitment for the group to deliver personal and friendly hospitality in any way possible.

To celebrate this launch, guests checking-in from now until 31st December 2018 will enjoy 25% off the best available room rate, inclusive of daily SGD15 dining credit, available for reservations from now to 31st December 2018. Guests can also get an additional SGD10 dining credit when checking-in with the mobile application.

The Grand Park City Hall mobile applications are available on both iOS and Android platforms and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
