Conserve and Share with The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali and Bali Sea Turtle Society
The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali and Bali Sea Turtle Society teamed up and released baby turtles into the sea as part of a larger plan to conserve and share in the environment.
On 25 May 2018, led by Gusti Ngurah Tresna, or better known as Mr. Turtle, The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali and Bali Sea Turtle Society released 50 baby turtles on the beach in front of Sands Restaurant at The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali. Gusti Ngurah Tresna started this event with some interesting turtle facts and information on how to help conserve turtles. With the Bali Sea Turtle Society, the team offers a turtle conservation, where they then will relocate sea turtle eggs from the beach to a central hatchery to protect the eggs and improve hatching rates. To develop and hatch, the eggs will take between 45-60 days.
This is one of the best ways to keeping the environment sustainable by supporting the local community and taking care of the nature around it. After, at around 4:00pm, the turtles were released to the wild.
