Jakarta’s bustling district in SCBD is about to get even busier with the opening of the long-anticipated New York grill style restaurant, VONG Kitchen. Leading the charge on this exciting adventure is one of the world’s most celebrated Chefs, Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his son Cédric.

At the young age of 29, Jean-Georges became the youngest chef to receive a four-star review in The New York Times. His Michelin-starred restaurant “Jean-Georges” in New York has been hailed as one of the best French restaurants in America. His son, Cédric was named Zagat’s Top 30 Up and Coming Chefs Under 30. As of today, Jean-Georges has a culinary empire that’s expanded from New York to Singapore before finally reaching Indonesia.

Cedric is a Bangkok-born chef who produces exciting recipes to shape a modern French-American menu.

VONG is a stylish, open-kitchen restaurant that seats up to 162 diners. An iconic New York style bar will overlook the buzz of Jakarta’s most dynamic and sophisticated district.
