Reflection of Love Through Som Santoso Kitchen Solutions

Nothing is better than going home to family and eating good food and relaxing – Irina Shayk

Home is always a paradise of togetherness, love, purity and joy. One of the many things that connect us with it is the food and the tradition of indulging in it with the loved ones while reconnecting with each other. This set a vision for Som Santoso, Founder and Principal of Som Santoso Kitchen Solution, in designing kitchens which not merely be a space where food is made but also as a haven that embodies a more intimate atmosphere of interaction amongst the family.

Som Santoso guiding guest to experience the 4D feature of his design concept.

With such intention, designing a kitchen, indeed, requires integration of passion and brilliant attention to detail. As Som Santoso believes, a kitchen should reflect the habit, lifestyle and the taste of its owners – in this case, even the food which is normally prepared in the house can be an inspiration in designing the kitchen. Upon which the quality is not regarded with the use of expensive materials but how the kitchen responds to the movements, activities, rituals of the family members.

“The best design approach is reached when you get a thorough understanding about the client, the purpose of the kitchen and how to provide general solutions as well as integrated kitchen solutions for their homes. An ideal kitchen cannot be separated from cuisine and the journey in indulging into the culinary taste created in it,” explained Som Santoso

Through the recently held “Som’s Lifestyle Kitchen: Food, Fun, and Lifestyle” at Som Santoso Showroom on November 28, 2018, Som has showcased that every feature that has been created results from the deep understanding and detailed observation on the characters of the owners themselves. The event was also cheered with the exclusive live kitchen show by Chef Petty Elliot and cooking demo by Veronica G.

Chef Petty Elliot sharing the uniqueness of Indonesian delights and the abundance of Indonesian local produce.

Adopting the VR360 technology, Som invited guests to experience a 4D view of his designs which have been created with SieMatic from German, Ballerina from German and Aster Cucina from Italy. Apart from that, there are also brands such as Lema from Italy for wardrobe and furniture products.
