Sharing Ramadan’s Many Blessings with The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta


The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta opened their doors and held a breakfasting event collaborating with the AMDI for sharing the joy of Ramadan with those around them.

The Association of Indonesian Musik Director (AMDI) and The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta held an auspicious event at the Lagoon Garden filled with community, music, and a feast for representatives of Indobuildco and Singgasana Hotels & Resorts -owning and management company of The Sultan Hotel & Residences, guests and Residence of the Hotel, media partners, Hotel team members, Clients and 200 children from Yayasan Penyantun Yatim Piatu Petamburan (YPYPP).

The evening’s entertainment started off with a acoustic performance by Sandy Canester.

The children of YPYPP arrived at the Hotel and was given a complete Hotel tour, including seeing the new “Golden Ballroom” scheduled to open mid-July 2018. The children then attended spiritual lectures prior to breakfasting. Readings from the Holy Qur’an and special performances by Indonesian artists Cakra Khan, Sandy Canester and newcomer, Rizky Febrian help serenade and energise the children and special guests before a bountiful feast was made by the Hotel’s Chefs that included traditional Middle Eastern, Western and Indonesian cuisine.

Cakra Khan performed some of his tunes and had everyone engaged before breakfasting.

Favourites such as Nasi Briyani, Kambing Buling, Opor Ayam and an array of delicious desserts all filled the guests up for a fulfilling meal that brought everyone closer together.

Rizky Febian closed out the entertainment section of the event with a sing-a-long of his hit song with the children and guests of the event.

Towards the end of the night, the children went home with goodie bags filled with savings, school stationary and praying attire that was presented to them by the owning and management company and Management of the Hotel, representative donator from Ikatan Alumni SMU 37 batch 96 mom’s community, U FM 94.7 Radio representative and AMDI representative.
