For the third year in a row The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place delightfully welcomes back Yann Bernard Lejard (YBL), artistic culinary expert and the award-winning chef.

For the third year in a row The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place delightfully welcomes back Yann Bernard Lejard, artistic culinary expert and the award-winning chef from 26 – 30 July 2017. The tea-inspired Dinner will be held on the first night at Pacific Restaurant & Lounge and in affiliation with Art Jakarta 2017, YBL will continue to host a Pop-Up Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom for four days.

Modern, sophisticated, artistic, evolving, and inspired. Those are 5 words to describe Chef Yann’s culinary philosophy. With his aim to develop the culinary trends and impact the world, this year Yann embraces some of Indonesian product and incorporate it into traditional French cuisine.

The concept of Unity in Diversity is brought to life by translating British Artist of Balinese decent, Sinta Tantra’s geometric elements into spatial aesthetics through the unique placement of furniture in the area. Chef Yann incorporates popping colors into his plating, creating a unique ala carte menu with varying selections of entrées, main courses, and desserts, adding a French twist to classic Indonesian cuisines. Together they will deliver an exquisite combination in which artwork and culinary art is merged visually on July 27th to July 30th at The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, level 4.

Born in Paris and holding a degree in cooking since the age of 16, his culinary experiences includes working for several Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe has led him to prestigious awards that include MARRIOT CORPORATE AWARD for CULINARY EXCELLENCE Rising Star Middle East and FOOD AND TRAVEL ARABIA Breakthrough CHEF OF THE YEAR 2015. For more information and reservations, please call at 62 21 2550 1993.
