The Blue Bar By Four Seasons Hong Kong Welcomes The World’s Best Bar, The Dead Rabbit

This May, take part in the remarkable pop up event at Blue Bar by The Dead Rabbit, that will cause a stir in the city’s cocktail scene.

Ranked as number 1 in the World’s Best Bars 2016, The Dead Rabbit, will be serving Four Seasons guests their critically acclaimed cocktails from 24 to 26 May in Blue Bar. Executive Chef of Four Seasons, Andrea Accordi, will recreate classic Irish food items such as scotch eggs and short rib sliders, perfect for washing down with a cocktail, or two!

Named after a notorious Irish-American street gang from the 1850s, The Dead Rabbit is the conception of two spectacular Belfast mixologists: Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry. Their philosophy for The Dead Rabbit is grounded in respect for cocktail, but for two people whose ambition is nothing short of world domination, to truly build on the past, what they called for was revolution.  In their vision, the theatrics of presentation take a back seat to creativity and refined skills.

Jillian Vose, Bar Manager and Beverage Director of Dead Rabbit will make a special appearance at Blue Bar for three days in May. As the Rising Star Bartender by Starchefs.com in 2013, her and McGarry will serve The Dead Rabbit’s third drink menu, which won “World’s Best Cocktail Menu” in 2015.

A series of pop-ups is continuing Blue Remix, and featuring some of the world’s most innovative cocktail bar. The four of The Dead Rabbit’s most inspired cocktails which are to be paired with classic Irish comfort food are Big Wheel, Fun Lovin’ Criminal, True Blue, and Dead Rabbit Top Secret. If you are as excited as these talented revolutionaries, email Blue Bar at bluebar.hkg@fourseasons.com or call (852) 3196 8830 for reservation and more information.
