The Magic of Art with Yayasan Daya Pelita Kasih and Pullman Jakarta Indonesia
Sharing a little love to the world, Pullman Jakarta Indonesia held a one week painting exhibition featuring 12 talented children with autism from Yayasan Daya Pelita Kasih in conjunction to Accor Indonesia’s 25th Anniversary.
From 23 – 29 July 2018, Pullman Jakarta Indonesia held the 25 Magic Painting Exhibition on the 2nd floor, showcasing 25 beautiful paintings done by the children from Yayasan Daya Pelita Kasih. This exhibition was also to help raise money for the children by having their paintings up for sale. Most of the artwork has deep meaning that explore unconventional painting techniques and they all sold starting form IDR 1,500,000 during that time. All the artists and painting artworks has been passed the curation process by the event.
Twelve talents artists were featured in the exhibition: Diego Luister Berel, Wilson Luhur,
Jane Gabriella, Mahadana Trayusa, Indhy Mutiarahma, Aurelie Sari Puteri Wirananda, Seto Swastiko, Kiemas Rizky Aguswira Ilyas Nurhadi, Banu Gunottama, Daya Olivia Korompis, Bima Ariasena Adisoma, and Fero Adhi Mada Sardjono. Each artist has their own take and interpretation of life and how they view things and it can be seen with the movement and the use of light and depth in the paintings.
During the opening ceremony with the children on 23rd July 2018, there was also performances by an international ethnic musician form Indonesia, Ganzer Lana, and a special piano performance by Daulat, the talented pianist with special needs who have an amazing musical abilities. This exceptional opening ceremony was also enliven with a fashion show performance featuring Alleira Batik collections.
Thanks to this beautifully curated exhibition, Pullman Jakarta Indonesia and Yayasan Daya Pelita Kasih sold 7 paintings. The Pullman Jakarta Indonesia is a 5-star hotel accommodation for business and leisure in Thamrin CBD. The collaboration with Yayasan Daya Pelita Kasih and the supporting the children with special needs who have a passion in art is in line with Pullman’s DNA.
