Celebrate Goût de France this March 21, 2019 with Cucina by Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort’s special degustation dinner.

Celebrate Goût de France/Good France, the annual celebration day of French gastronomy around the world by revelling in a specially crafted French cuisine degustation dinner by Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort’s Executive Chef Daine Gilbert at Cucina. Initiated by Alaine Ducasse and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, the event has been the opportunity to celebrate French cuisine worldwide.

Alain Ducasse also mentioned that French cuisine focuses on the value of generosity, sharing and love of what is beautiful and tastes good. Held at Cucina Osteria E Enoteca or Cucina, the degustation dinner, where guests will be able to sample small portions of all of the Chef’s signature dishes in one sitting, will be enjoyed in the open air of the restaurant’s Italian Al Fresco dining concept that surely will elevate the pleasurable dining experience.

Cucina Osteria E Enoteca or Cucina also offers indoor space where guests can lounge and dine comfortably.

Start the meal with the L’Amuse-Bouche of foie gras crème brûlée, brioche toast and fig purée. Savour the delectable La Saint-Jacques course of pancetta wrapped butter seared scallops with the accompanying tomato broth and tuile. Next, enjoy the Le Poisson course comprising dill infused sea bass, potato crisp, minted pea puree and butter poached pea salad.

Indulge with the L’Agneau dish of lamb loin that is seasoned with fine herbs and pistachio crust and served with confit garlic pomme purée, baby vegetables, taragon foam and jus. Revel in the selection of French Cheese along with the condiments with Le Fromage before the sweet desserts. End your meal by delighting yourself in the selection of desserts such as dark chocolate and orange ganache, orange parfait, orange sorbet, and cocoa nib tuile.
