Get a little taste of authentic Indian cuisine at Melt Café by Mandarin Oriental, Singapore’s Delhi Food Festival Dinner.

Revel your taste buds in an array of flavourful taste found in authentic Indian cuisine at Melt Café by Mandarin Oriental, Singapore’s Delhi Food Festival Dinner. Prepared by Indian Specialty Chef Santosh Kumar who started his career in New Delhi, the special dinner serves as a tribute to the capital city of India.

Indulge in a range of appetizers, mains and specials from India, Japan, Asia as well as Europe in the Delhi Food Festival dinner. Start your meal with a selection of salads such as Pomelo and crab salad covered in palm sugar dressing, Lentil and chickpea with masala salad and many more as well as with soup and curries including Daily double-broiled chicken soup, Tamatar aur dhaniya shorba and many more.

Revel your taste buds in an array of flavourful taste found in authentic Indian cuisine at Melt Café by Mandarin Oriental, Singapore.

Head to the live stations and enjoy Masala Dosa, Chaat and Chole Kulche before feasting on the main star of the dinner that is a selection of Indian specialties. From the delicious Mutton Ki Sharmi comprising finely minced lamb seasoned with Indian spices and decadent foie gras, succulent king prawns cooked under the searing heat of a traditional tandoor oven to the flavourful Chicken Korma and many more, these authentic dishes will transport you back to India with their amazing  and nostalgic taste.

Indian Specialty Chef Santosh Kumar prepared the dinner as a tribute to the capital city of India where his career started.

On Fridays and Saturdays, taking centre stage is a Whole Lamb Biryani roasted to perfection for close to five hours, and accompanied by fragrant saffron rice and a selection of chutneys. The outdoor garden hosts a slew of barbecued North Indian stalwarts such as chicken flavoured with cumin and garlic and fish marinated in yoghurt and many more. Delight your taste buds after the feast with decadent desserts including Mango Lassi Slice or Badam Kheer Tart that were made with almonds and milk.

Aside from Indian cuisines, the dinner also serves a selection of Japanese cuisine that includes sashimi, sushi, maki and soba as well as fresh oysters and premium seafood. Asian as well as European delights along with Chinese’s Roasted Pork Belly and Peking Duck are also available for guests to feast on.

Melt Café by Mandarin Oriental, Singapore’s Delhi Food Festival dinner is available daily from June 7 to 16, 2019 at 6.30 PM to 10.30 PM. The special dinner can be enjoyed at a price of SGD 78++ per person from Sundays to Thursdays and SGD 88++ per person for Friday and Saturday.
