Immerse yourself in an authentically Indonesian wine and dine experience only at 1945 by Fairmont Jakarta.

Known for its innovative ways of transforming traditional Indonesian dishes into an authentic fine dining experience, 1945 is now pushing its boundary by infusing some tropical fruits of Indonesia into its dishes. Presenting these exquisite creations in a special one night only 8-course set menu, 1945’s Tropical Dinner will surely be a unique and fascinating experience.

Nibble on the unique amuse-bouche of Rambutan (Rambutan Relish, Purple Yams Chips, Prawn in Honey Mustard,Sesame Seed), Salak (Deep Fry Oyster, Salak Dabu Dabu, Crispy Chives, Smoked Green Chili Pure) and Pisang (Banana Chips, Sambal Roa Emulsion, Ikura, Aging of Roa Fish) before starting on the exquisite dishes.

Start the journey with the appealing Apel Malang made out of Apel Malang Compote, Crab Arancini, Black Sago Crackers, and Cassava Puree along with Bengkuang that is served in Lumpia Basah Sayur, with Acar and Tamarind Sauce.

Savour the exquisite 1945’s fruit-infused 8-course set menu Tropical Dinner only on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Fairmont Jakarta.

Savour the authentic Manggis and Durian main course whose exquisite taste will leave you satisfied. The Manggis menu comprises Duck, Red Curry, Mangosteen, Kemangi Powder and Mantau Goreng. While Halibut along with Durian Tempoyak, Corn Puree, Gohu Manga, Papaya Flower and Burnt Corn can be enjoyed in the Durian menu. Next, pamper yourself with the indulgent Pineapple that comprises a Pineapple Cake with unique Brown Sugar Sorbet.

Upgrade your experience by enjoying a series of Indonesian fruit-infused cocktails that are specially crafted by Diageo World Class guest bartenders from Bali – Arrey Barker from Bikini Bar and Ayip Dzuhri from Seasalt.

The cocktails that will be presented are White Negroni, Bloodless Martini, Wooden Temple and Black Velvet. Bloodless Martini will feature Smirnoff Fat Washed Bacon and Clarified Tomato along with Chili, Salt, Citrus and Worcestershire Sauce. While Wooden Temple on the other hand is crafted from JW Black Label, Roasted Honey Pineapple Juice, Coconut,  Brown Sugar and Spices.

1945’s Tropical Dinner will be held on Friday, April 26 2019 and can be enjoyed for IDR 688,000 ++ inclusive with a glass of rose wine.
