Nobu Kuala Lumpur features a progressive Japanese aesthetic with contemporary nuances and a sophisticated yet casual ambience that encompasses every facet of the 8,100 square-feet space, from the restaurant’s open kitchen and sushi bar to the sophisticated dining room and cocktail bar.

Executive Chef Philip Leong leads an exceptional kitchen team in constructing fresh perspectives to Chef Nobu’s legendary cuisine. Since launching his Nobu career in 2005 at the restaurant’s Michelin-starred location on Berkeley Street in London, where he worked his way up to Head Chef in 2014, Chef Leong’s track record has included a range of experiences, from the exclusive Singapore Grand Prix by Nobu to the Nobu at Home exclusive private dining.

Inside Nobu Kuala Lumpur, Chef Philip welcomes guests from around the world to savor Nobu’s signature dishes, including: Toro Tartar with Caviar (Toro, Salmon, Yellowtail, Sweet Shrimp); Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno; New Style Sashimi; Black Cod Miso; and Tiradito (Scallop, Octopus, White Fish, Uni).

Each signature dish comes with a fascinating story from Chef Nobu’s amazing career; however, the iconic Black Cod Miso is still the crowd-pleasing favourite of his and diners alike. With his widely proclaimed “Nobu style,” Chef Nobu-san westernises the centuries-old Japanese technique of making the black cod sweeter by marinating it with sake and miso. Adding sweet mirin and a sugar glaze for a golden brown crisp immediately appeals to diners who may already be familiar with the sushi and teriyaki side of Japanese cuisine.

In 2017, Nobu Kuala Lumpur was awarded the prestigious Gold Award from the Kuala Lumpur Mayor’s Tourism Award 2017 for “Best Fine Dining Restaurant,” demonstrating the highest level of excellence and competency in the preparation and presentation of food and drinks, as well as service and restaurant appeal.

Located on Level 56, Menara 3 Petronas, KLCC, Nobu Kuala Lumpur accommodates 200 pax and is open for lunch from Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, dinner from Monday to Sunday, 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM and High Tea every Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
