Explore Cambodian cuisine with Chef Men Somera of The Balé Phnom Penh at The Balé Nusa Dua. Chef Men Somera, whose culinary prowess was mastered at Paul DuBrule Academy and 5-star hotels in Cambodia as well as regionally, will craft with precision, simple yet exquisite dishes that showcase the very best of Cambodian cuisine. 

Guests at Faces will be treated to a diverse choice of classic Cambodian dishes which exude exotic flavors including sour lobster soup with green mango and basil to start, Pan-fried beef fillet with black pepper corn, fried egg and watercress as a main and Braised lotus seeds with sticky rice in coconut syrup milk to complete a most sumptuous meal. TAPA, on the other hand, will feature a set menu of Prawn with fried eggplant, asparagus and spring onion, Pan-fried scallop with X.O sauce and Crispy rice with cucumber, carrot and spicy pork.

Besides the set menu option, guests can also enjoy a selection from an a la carte menu at Faces Restaurant and at TAPA Bistro. Chef Men Somera will also be conducting a cooking class combined with a visit to the traditional fish market at Jimbaran for guests who would like to learn how to prepare Cambodian Cuisine.

Chef Men Somera’s Cambodian Cuisine will be available for lunch and dinner at Faces Restaurant & TAPA Bistro at The Balé Nusa Dua from September 12 to 19, 2019. 2-course menu at Faces Restaurant is priced at IDR IDR 375,000 ++ Per Person while 3-course menu costs IDR 500,000 ++ Per Person. TAPA Bistro’s special set menu of 3 Khmer light bites is priced at IDR 200,000++. 

Chef Men Somera’s Cambodian Cuisine Cooking Class will be available from September 16 to 19, 2019 for a minimum of 2 persons at IDR 850,000 ++ Per Person for a 4-course menu (a soup, an appetizer, a main and dessert). Guests who want a Market Tour along with the class can enjoy it at IDR 950,000++ Per Person.
