Indulge in an enticing selection of handcrafted mooncakes from Michelin three-star Chinese restaurant Lung King Heen at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong this Mid-Autumn Festival as a sign of respect to the celestial tradition. Whether it is a thoughtful gift for loved ones or business associates, these festive favourites will be a joy to savour.

Five Nuts mooncakes have always been a perennial favourite of parents and grandmothers as it channels memories of their childhood. Chinese Executive Chef Chan Yan Tak and his team gives this traditional confectionary a modern twist, adding a welcome hint of floral tartness from hibiscus to complement the nutty flavours. 

Chef Tak incorporates six, instead of five nuts, which are walnuts, cashew nuts, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and almonds, to embody abundance. And with its crunchy texture that  resembles a cereal bar, this protein-rich mooncake will attract a lot of attention this season.

Celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival by indulging in Michelin three-star Chinese restaurant Lung King Heen at Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong’s mooncakes.

Enjoy both novel and classic flavours in the Assorted Mini Mooncake box that includes six mooncakes and three flavours – White Lotus Seed Paste Preserved Eggs and Pickled Ginger Mooncake; Five Nuts with Glazed Ham and Hibiscus Mooncake; and Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with Salted Egg Yolk and Black Truffle. A sought-after delicacy created by Chef Tak since the Hotel opened, the Cream Custard with Toasted Pine Nuts mooncake are not to be missed.

All Lung King Heen mooncakes are handmade by the restaurant chefs and contain no preservatives. The cakes are elegantly presented in a gift box newly designed by the locally renowned Alan Chan. The box is adorned in the natural earthy colour palette that conveys clean, understated chic while the compartments inside are adorned with sketches of Chinese clouds, mountain landscape and a festive poem to pay tribute to Mid-autumn Festival. The contemporary design complements the purity of the cakes proving that indeed, less is more.

Lung King Heen Five Nuts with Glazed Ham and Hibiscus Mooncakes; Cream Custard with Toasted Pine Nuts; and White Lotus Seed Paste with Preserved Egg and Pickled Ginger is priced at HKD 508 each. While Lung King Heen Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with Salted Egg Yolk and Black Truffle as well as Assorted Mini Mooncakes (includes Pickled Ginger/Five Nuts/Black Truffle) is priced at HKD 538 each.

For those who prefer a more traditional flavour, Four Seasons White Lotus Seed Paste Mooncakes with Double Salted Egg Yolk is the perfect choice. Available at the price of HKD 498 per 4 pieces, the mooncakes are a great giveaway for corporate clients. Enjoy a special early bird discount of 5% from July 15 to August 12, 2019 as well as a bulk purchase discount that ranges from 10 to 20%.
