Founded in 1965 by Ms. Ruth Fertel in New Orleans, Louisiana, US, Ruth’s Chris Steak House has expanded globally and become a leader in steak house, where steak connoisseurs can find the restaurant branches in over 150 locations around the world

For both lunch and dinner, menu options are offered in three choices. Private dining lunch menu ranges from the French Quarter, the Bourbon Street and the Mardi Gras. All menus include fresh hot bread and butter, tea and coffee service. Firstly, The French Quarter in two courses offers four entrée choices: Steak Sandwich, Ruth’s Prime Burger, Seared Ahi Tuna Salad and Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken or Jumbo Shrimp, plus a choice of dessert. The French Quarter is priced at IDR 350,000++ per person. Secondly, The Bourbon Street in three courses offers Starter, continued by three entrée choices: 6 oz Filet and Shrimp, Market Fresh Fish and Stuffed Chicken Breast, two accompaniments, followed by a choice of dessert. The Bourbon Street is priced at IDR 720,000++ per person.

Thirdly, the Mardi Gras, also in three courses, offers Starter, followed by five entrée choices: Petit Filet, Ribeye, New York, Market Fresh Fish and Stuffed Chicken Breast, two accompaniments, ended with a choice of dessert. The Mardi Gras is priced at IDR 800,000++ per person. Meanwhile, private dining dinner menu ranges from three signature options: the Ruth, the 1965, and the Orleans. Similar to the lunch menu, all dinner menus include fresh hot bread and butter, tea and coffee service.

In Jakarta, Ruth’s Chris is conveniently located at the ground floor of the Somerset Grand Citra Apartments, near the Raffles Jakarta Hotel, in the heart of the Kuningan business district. The menu starts with plated appetizers, starter, and four entrée choices: Petit Filet, Sizzlin’ Blue Crab Cakes, Market Fresh Fish and Stuffed Chicken Breast, plus two accompaniments, ended with a choice of dessert. The Ruth is priced at IDR 750,000++ per person. Secondly, the 1965—aptly named so because 1965 was a milestone for Ruth. She mortgaged her house and bought the popular Chris’ Steak House, and this menu celebrates the best of Ruth’s classic dishes. The three-course dinner starts with plated appetizers, starter, and five entrée choices: Petit Filet, Ribeye, Market Fresh Fish, Stuffed Chicken Breast and Grilled Portobello Mushrooms, plus two accompaniments, ended with a choice of dessert. The 1965 is priced at IDR 950,000++ per person.

Lastly, Ruth’s Chris has the Orleans. It is one of the legendary Ruth’s Chris outlet that was first established at the corner of Broad St. and Orleans Ave. Ruth’s Chris hallmark in New Orleans resulted in the impeccable fusion of the classic American steak house with Southern hospitality. Starting with plated appetizers and starter, guests can discover the wide variety of sizzling dishes in six entrée choices: Petit Filet, Ribeye, New York, Market Fresh Fish, Stuffed Chicken Breast and Grilled Portobello Mushrooms. Three accompaniments and two desserts serve as a great grand finale in this guest-favourite menu. The Orleans is priced at IDR 1,050,000++ per person.

In addition, when it comes larger-scale events, to keep guests entertained Ruth’s Chris also offers several packages of canapės which can be served thirty to sixty minutes prior to the main dinner.
