Michelin Star Chef Olivier Oddos Set to Bring an Elevated Easter Brunch Experience to The Dharmawangsa Jakarta

Take the upcoming special occasion of Easter Sunday to a new level with a special brunch with Michelin Star Guest Chef Olivier Oddos at The Dharmawangsa Jakarta. 

Those who have yet to plan anything on Easter Sunday should look no further than The Dharmawangsa Jakarta, which has prepared an exciting brunch program for the occasion this year. On April 21, 2019, The Dharmawangsa Jakarta is taking Easter Brunch to a whole other level by presenting some exclusively crafted dishes from Michelin Star Guest Chef, Olivier Oddos.

Olivier, of course, is the chef-owner of Chez Olivier in Tokyo, Japan, which received One Michelin Star in 2014. He began his culinary career when he was 16, and went on to work in some of the world’s most coveted restaurants. This includes La Tour d’Argent, a 2-starred Michelin restaurant. He is known for his direct involvement in his restaurant on a daily basis, where he not only partake in activities inside the kitchen, but also in the selection of wines and service itself.

The special Easter Brunch program is one of two special brunches prepared at The Dharmawangsa Jakarta in the month of April. The first one is set to take place on April 7, 2019, with a “Parisian Picnic” theme.

For the special Easter Brunch at the hotel’s Jakarta Restaurant & The Courtyard, Olivier is working closely with Executive Chef Felix Budisetiawan and his award-winning culinary team, to prepare some truly exclusive dishes for the occasion, including Scallop pricked with black truffle, spelt risotto, purée of trumpets mushroom and black garlic, with champagne sauce and Slowly cooked chicken breast, swiss chard, shrimps and roasted hazelnuts, mussel sauce.

The Easter Brunch with Michelin Star Guest Chef Olivier Oddos will also feature a Carving Station comprising of wild fuinea hen, roasted spring bultarra organic lamb shoulder, galatian Spanish beef rib eye and giant lobster thermidor, as well as a Dessert Gallery comprising of chocolate egg mousse, bunny chocolate, mini eggs pralines, chocolate souffle, chocolate molten, banana & berries flame, artisan ice cream and sorbet; among other excellent selection to complete a fulfilling meal.

The excitement over the scrumptious brunch is all the more fervent with live strolling musician to entertain every guest, along with fun activities planned for kids, including egg hunting, rabbit racing and rabbit feeding.
