Amankila is Ready To Greet Its Guests with New Property Enhancements & Exciting Activities

Unveiling three new infinity pool suites, a private cinema and new dining experiences, Amankila seeks to immerse guests in the cultural heritage of the east coast of Bali

A brand synonymous with luxury and unparalleled service, Aman Resorts, decides to enhance one of its eldest properties that still retains its charm, Amankila. Known as one of the best luxury accommodation option in Bali’s eastern Karangasem Regency, Amankila makes sure to stay up-to-date for its valued guests with new exciting facilities. Indeed, this is the feature that makes Amankila stands out from others, besides the promise of private beach, intimate size and personalized service.

In order to bring a memorable experience for its guests, Amankila brings new improvements, starting from the launch of three new infinity pool suites, a private cinema and a ton of new dining experiences. Last month, Amankila premiered the new swimming pools which were located in three existing Infinity Pool suites, surrounded by jungle ocean view. One of the suites has an outdoor bale next to the swimming pool with two treatment beds for couples’ massages which can be conveniently transformed into a dining area to enjoy an intimate al fresco dining experience, an ideal choice for honeymooners.

Amankila’s unwavering mission to provide a carefully curated programme of energising and mind-broadening experiences continues with the introduction of new activities in and around the hotel alongside a series of property refurbishments

If you are in the mood to host a little party in your room then not to worry—all the suites at Amankila have been equipped with state-of-the-art audio devices, including Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speakers. Soon, Amankila will also provide iPads in the room which include the guest directory, room service and spa menus to ensure a seamless experience at the resort. Each mini-bar will also be upgraded to include homemade cordials and ginger beer. New Nespresso machines that use recyclable stainless-steel capsules will be provided, as well as sustainably sourced coffee from Java Mountain Coffee, as a part of Amankila’s sustainability program.

Moviebuffs will also be glad to know that Amankila is planning to launch a private cinema in November, featuring a large 55-inch screen and surround sound, which can be booked for individual screenings, sporting events, and family movie time. Planning to learn more about Balinese culture? The cinema will also offer a curated program of lectures and films on the history and culture of the island.

Led by Amankila’s team of talented chefs, guests can learn to make some of Amankila’s signature dishes with new cooking classes

If you are a fan of cooking, you can also join the cooking classes which are taught by Amankila’s team of talented chefs who know very well how to present the best Indonesian favourites such as nasi goreng or satay. In this very hands-on class, the schedule starts with a trip to the local market with the chef in the morning to select the ingredients, and then collecting fresh herbs from Amankila’s vegetable garden. A communal table is prepared with all the required ingredients including bumbu—a local spice paste. The collaborative class allows chefs to teach new skills while interacting with the participants and explaining the history behind each recipe, and at the end of the session, participants can dine their homemade dishes for lunch.

Due to the strategic location of Amankila, we advise you to wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise while having a morning sunrise breakfast on top of Tamasari Hill, where a new traditional bale has been constructed. The resort also allows a picturesque view of Mount Agung, rice paddies, the villages of Manggis, Lombok Island and the ocean, which makes it perfect to be enjoyed in the early morning. Down by the Beach Club, the hotel offers an evening dining experience on a new deck near the cliff edge. Perfect for an intimate dinner or a cocktail party, the area is furnished with comfortable lounge chairs, candles and large floor cushions creating a chill and relaxed atmosphere.

In short, it is guaranteed that all of your experience in Amankila will definitely be an unforgettable one

There’s no reason not to stay fit while staying at Amankila, because it has plenty of outdoor activities to keep you moving. You can choose from riding Schiller bikes at the beach, joining aqua yoga in the pool with floating mats, hit the gym with the outdoor Lebert Fitness equipment, or even learn traditional Indonesian martial arts Pencak Silat with the hotel’s in-house master instructor. Thrill seekers might be more suited to ATV drives in the countryside and Manggis villages, as well as rafting on the nearby Telega Waja River while enjoying the stunning view of the waterfall.

Amankila seems to know what its guests need, and from 19 to 21 September 2019, you can participate in the three-night Wellness Within Retreat. Delve into the lore and mystery of Bali and learn the secrets of Balinese peaceful way of life. Discover the medical plants of Bali while trekking on the slopes of Mount Agung, learning the arts of story-telling and meditation from local healers and elders, practicing Balinese yoga, consulting with local spiritual healers, enjoying a sunset journey to reconnect with nature, and indulging yourself in traditional spa treatments using local ingredients. In short, it is guaranteed that all of your experience in Amankila will definitely be an unforgettable one.
