Celebrate Independence Day with Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta’s Special Promotions

Independence Day is a day to spend with loved ones – make it even more memorable with dining and staycation promotions at Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta.

The 17th of August marks Indonesia’s independence day after several centuries of colonisation; this year of 2019 is the 74th anniversary of Indonesia’s freedom. This holiday is a day where citizens celebrate their national pride through decorating their residences, buildings, and streets with our red and white flags.

In the spirit of bringing people together, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta also will host its own Indonesian Independence Day programmes. Lagoon Cafe’s culinary team, led by Executive Chef Andry Stefanus, will prepare a variety of Indonesian delicacies.

Chef Andry has created special dishes that will be served a la carte. The first is Mie Nyemek Rengasdengklok, which are Javanese braised noodles with eggs, seafood and vegetables. The next is Nasi Goreng Proklamasi – fried rice with lemongrass, coriander leaf, assorted seafood, red chili and shrimp cracker – named in the spirit of Indonesia’s independence day. Lastly but not least is Nasi Rawon Pegangsaan, braised oxtail rawon that is served with steamed white rice and shrimp crackers. The dining experience at Lagoon Cafe is priced at IDR 81,945 nett for lunch and dinner per person.

The Lagoon Lounge will also participate in the festivities with their special Lagoon Platter. This platter consists of a variety of foods such as mixed vegetables, chicken wings, “dragon balls,” and smoked salmon sticks. This platter is priced at IDR 88,000 nett per person.

This month Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta is also celebrating their 13th anniversary with an exclusive room package.  This promotion starts at Grand Deluxe room with special price of DR 1,313,000 nett per night. This deal is inclusive of daily breakfast for two, a complimentary minibar and welcome fruit, as well as late check out until 3 PM. There is also a 13% discount for dining at the hotel’s food and beverage outlets, as well as a shuttle bus to Senayan City Shopping Mall and special entrance ticket fee to Waterbom Pantai Indah Kapuk, priced at only IDR 100,000 nett per person.
