Seasonal Tastes at The Westin Jakarta invites gourmands to indulge in the exotic flavours of India
From August 29 to September 4, The Westin Jakarta, in collaboration with Embassy of India, welcomes valued guests to taste the flavours of India at the highest buffet restaurant in Jakarta, Seasonal Tastes all-day dining restaurant. Under the helm of talented Indian Chef Uttam Singh, the Indian culinary team deftly prepare an extended selection of authentic Indian food, which are also available on display at several live cooking stations.
The range of dishes that will be displayed during the event include Bhelpuri, Panipuri, Butter Chicken, Lamb Shank Biryani, Paneer Tikka, Hara bhara Kebab, Dal Tadka, Baingan Bharta, Laal Maas, Gatte Ki Subzi, Rajasthani Dahi Curry, Malpua, Jalebi, Kheer, and many more.
To mark the start of the event, the hotel held an opening ceremony which was graced by Ambassador of India to Indonesia HE Mr. Shri Pradeep Kumar Rawat and Mr. Satya Widya Yudha, Vice Chairman of Commission I of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI). Before the opening ceremony commenced, they proceeded to light the traditional Indian lamp—a part of Indian tradition which symbolises friendship, happiness and culture—followed by Indian traditional dance performance, performed by Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural Centre Jakarta (JNICC).
Lunch is open from 12pm to 3pm, priced at IDR 388,000++ per person for weekdays, and IDR 468,000++ per person for weekends. Meanwhile, dinner is open from 6pm to 10pm, priced at IDR 408,000++ per person for weekdays, and IDR 468,000++ per person for weekends. All above prices include free-flow non-alcoholic beverage.
