This independence day Keraton Lounge is collaborating with the renowned luxury brand, Iwan Tirta Private Collection, for the Nusantara Afternoon Tea.
Keraton at The Plaza, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Jakarta thrives in delivering lavish experiences to commemorate the Indonesian 74th Independence day. In celebration of the month of independence, Keraton Lounge is delighted to collaborate with Iwan Tirta Private Collection in the effort of continuously preserving the indigenous UNESCO World Heritage. Keraton Lounge introduces a chic afternoon tea set that is adorned with patterns in homage to the late Iwan Tirta.
Iwan Tirta Private Collection presents an exclusive theme using the pattern of Boket Garuda Kekayon, which was inspired by Garuda, the vehicle of Vishnu and the icon of Indonesia that symbolises hope from the founding father. This is significant in Indonesia’s process of becoming a free nation in determining their own destiny and future.
This exclusive Nusantara Afternoon Tea is the perfect way to indulge in sophisticated delicacies and locally inspired canapés. Take pleasure in a traditional Indonesian treat such as the cheese klapertart stone, or with international flavours with Indonesian twists with dishes such as strawberry cocopandan with chocolate cremeux, banana with dulce de leche mousse, lapis legit with chocolate ganache – all garnished in a series of traditional Batik pattern.
Guest are also able to enjoy authentic Indonesian cuisine such as pecel ayam, kentang telur balado, rendang vol au vent, tuna gohu peyek kacang and gado gado roll – all prepared carefully into finger food that will complement the afternoon tea experience.
Nusantara Afternoon Tea is available all day throughout August and September, priced at IDR 288,000 ++ per person, with a minimum order of two-person. This is inclusive a choice of TWG tea.
