The start of October marks a lovely surprise for the sweet tooth, as Makaron Bakeshop at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia Thamrin CBD presents an incredible collaboration of two dessert masters: Nitrogen Ice Cream Expert Ron Prasanto and the hotel’s Pastry Chef Feri Sulfian. The dynamic duo are showcasing their innovative creation of sweet treats entitled “Fire and Ice Dessert” as a part of Jakarta Dessert week which runs from 7 to 20 October 2019.
Initiated by six food enthusiasts including branding strategists Gupta Sitorus and Primo Rizky, pastry expert Talita Setyadi, Chef Arimbi Nimpuno, food editor Kevindra Soemantri and food writer Tria Nuragustina, Jakarta Dessert Week involves a number of participating restaurants that will be serving special desserts for diners to enjoy. With a theme of “retro”, Makaron Bakeshop will serve an array of unorthodox and innovative desserts, such as Baked Alaska with fire on plate by Chef Feri Sulfian, Brown Sugar Panna Cotta with Coffee by Ron Prasanto, and also the signature collaboration dessert, which is Cruffin or Macaron with Nitrogen Ice Cream in unique flavours, such as Chocolate with Jamu, Salted Butterscotch and Sale Pisang.
