No Single-Use Plastic Waste at Padma Hotels

Bali has had enough with plastic pollution that is undoubtedly a huge thing on the island. In fact, Bali government officiates a regulation that bans plastic all over the island. This initiative is of course embraced by the locals and tourists as it takes about 1000 years for them to decompose. We don’t know about you, but for us, that is a long time.

While convenience stores and supermarkets are doing their thing in support of the plastic banning regulation, Padma Hotels is doing its part by collaborating with Sensatia Botanicals, a local brand dedicated to its fine and natural products since 2000. Padma has started spoiling its guests with the “Signature Fragrances”, a luxurious, exclusively crafted set of guilt-free bath products.

Why guilt free? Well, Sensatia Botanicals sources 100% eco-friendly and natural ingredients for its products. Yes, it’s about sustainability. It doesn’t stop there, all Sensatia Botanicals products will come in bigger and recyclable pump bottles. Did you know that Padma Hotels has managed to reduce more than 18,000 single-use containers in one month? That is over 80% of plastic waste saved! Things seriously don’t get any better than this!

Guests at Padma Hotels will be spoiled with bath amenities provided by Sensatia Botanicals, ranging from shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, body lotion to refreshing face mist, body spray and aloe vera gel. With such scents as Bergamot, Geranium, Lavender, Mint, and Eucalyptus, Padma hopes to evoke pleasant memories of Padma experiences. Who would say no to this delightful experience?
