Thailand’s Tallest Restaurant is Taking New Orders with Strict Safety Measures and a High Level of Hygiene

Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar, which recently reopened, introduces King Power Care Power initiative to prioritize the safety of its valuable customers and staffs

Thailand’s leading travel retail group King Power Group recently introduced “King Power Care Power”, an initiative which prioritizes the safety of its customers and staff through practices that ensure a high level of hygiene throughout one’s experience within all King Power destinations, including King Power Mahanakhon and Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar.

Patrons visiting Mahanakhon Bangkok SkyBar will not only be greeted with breathtaking views, but also new social distancing measures as the restaurant reopened since 22 May. The iconic dining destination, which is situated at the 76th floor inside the unique architectural landmark building King Power Mahanakhon, now opens daily with an all-day set menu, selected signature à la carte dishes and Café Gourmand from 11:30am to 8:00pm. New protocols for new and recurring visitors at King Power Mahanakhon now include a visitor registration at the building entrance, a temperature scan to ensure that visitors do not exceed a body temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius, and an X-ray scan for security screening purposes.

Diners will be separated by dining tables to ensure more space, including applying a high level of hygienic measures which diners usually find while boarding a plane, such as sanitizing and sealing all dining cutlery and equipment for exclusive use of individual customer. Staffs are also required to wear a set of safety attire which include gloves, mask and face shield at all times. Frequent sanitization will apply for dining tables, chairs, handrails, exposed surfaces, and all equipment used during service. Restroom facilities and floor surfaces are disinfected daily before and after opening hours.

Customers can order selected signature à la carte dishes from the all-day menu from 11:30am to 8:00pm, with last orders at 07:00pm. Recommended ones are the new set menus which include a 3-course meal priced at 1,600THB++ featuring an appetizer of Pork Jowl, a choice of Australian Wagyu Ribeye or Seared Andaman Sea Bass as the main dish, and Roasted Pineapple for dessert. If you are ordering for a group of family, we also recommend the new 4-course set menu priced at 1,800THB++ which has more complete variations: Salmon Rillettes, Foie Gras, Larb Ped-Spicy Duck Salad, and a special Chocolate & Banana dessert.
