The new five-star resort collaborates with its art advisor Happy Salma, honours artisans in a special awards show, followed by a week full of craftsmanship celebration

The newly opened The Apurva Kempinski Bali in Nusa Dua is not only an embodiment of Indonesian elegance, but also a luxurious property that charms with its stunning architecture. Collaborating with its honorary art advisor Happy Salma, The Apurva Kempinski Bali and Happy Salma’s brand Tulola jewellery presented an exhibition on Sunday, 25 August 2019, showcasing the latest collection of Tulola entitled “Perjalanan, Kenangan.” In addition, the resort also exhibited the crafted products by Asha Curated Boutique & Gallery at the resort’s Amala and Kimaya Chapels, where visitors were allowed to browse the diverse collection and participate in the making process.

The Apurva Kempinski Bali honours the nation’s belief of unity in diversity. In raising public awareness of the arts, culture and heritage of Indonesia, the celebration held the spirit of “curated”, one of the four pillars of the resort. True to its vision, a week full of craftsmanship celebration followed in the last week of August, from Monday, 26 August to Saturday, 31 August 2019. Curated products that were on display ranged from tenun weaving and art of macramé from Tarum Bali, shell carving, ceramic making, to the artistic woven foliage, including numerous crafted products and a live demonstration from Asha Curated Boutique and Gallery’s artists.
